Day 1: Arrival in Kunming from various locations across China → Airport/Train Station Pickup → Hotel Check-in → Free Time

The Yunnan Military Academy and Yunnan University are both located around Cuihu Park. Admission is free, but advance reservations are recommended. Many delicious traditional restaurants are also located around Cuihu Park.

Kunming Old Street is the best-preserved and most historically significant traditional street in the city center, known as "Kunming's last historical district."

The Jinma Biji Archway is one of Kunming's most iconic buildings and considered a symbol of the city. Walking along it leads to Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kunming's most bustling pedestrian street.

The Dianchi Haigeng Dam is a scenic corridor famous for its expansive lake views, spectacular flocks of red-billed gulls, and the "Sleeping Beauty" mountain scenery of Xishan. From November to March each year, it's the best time to see the gulls.

Yunnan Ethnic Village is a theme park showcasing the diverse ethnic cultures of Yunnan. The park features replicas of typical villages from Yunnan's 25 ethnic minorities. Admission is 90 yuan (half price for students and seniors, free for children under 1.2 meters).

Dounan Flower Market, Asia's largest fresh flower market, is known as the "Flower Capital of Asia." Flower lovers are in for a treat here.

Kunming Jacaranda: Peak bloom (late April to mid-May), locations: Jiaochang Middle Road (Dingliu Tunnel), Panlong River (river reflection), Chuncheng Road (low walls, people-friendly), Tiepi Lane (less crowded, red brick walls + jacaranda).

Day2: Kunming → Fuxian Lake Peninsula → Bijia Mountain Light Hiking → Star Fish Cave Internet Celebrity Beach → Jianshui Seventeen-hole Bridge

After breakfast, depart from Kunming and head to Fuxian Lake. Fuxian Lake has a water area of 216.6 square kilometers and an average water depth of 95.2 meters. In summer, the visibility can reach more than 5 meters. It is known as the "Blue Tears of the Plateau."

At our first stop, we arrived at Fuxian Lake Luchong Scenic Area, where we took a light hike up Bijia Mountain to overlook the entire core bay area on the north shore of Fuxian Lake. Surrounded by green mountains, clear water stretching to the sky, the view is clear and magnificent. The hiking path is gentle without steep slopes and is shaded by trees throughout, making walking cool and comfortable in summer.

Afterwards, head to the popular Fish Cave Beach. The Seaincoffee café, a must-visit on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), is a popular spot for photos. Sit by the window with a coffee, watch the shimmering water and see kayaks gliding gracefully across the lake – every snapshot is an Instagram-worthy masterpiece. Summer is the most spectacular season for the traditional fishing method, where you can witness this ancient practice that has continued for hundreds of years.

In the afternoon, we headed to Jianshui, arriving at the Seventeen-Arch Bridge (Shuanglong Bridge) before sunset. This ancient bridge, hailed by bridge expert Mao Yisheng as one of the "Twin Jewels of the North and South" alongside the Seventeen-Arch Bridge in the Summer Palace in Beijing, is 148 meters long with 17 arches. It is one of China's ten most famous ancient bridges. Bathed in the afterglow of the setting sun, the bridge appears "half above the water, half in the middle," a truly poetic sight.

A stone tablet at the bridgehead is inscribed with the poem: "Pavilions carved from stone suppress the raging dragon, the first bridge across the Pearl River for a thousand miles"—standing on the bridge feels like stepping through a century of history.

Important Notes

Fuxian Lake is a national Class I drinking water source. Swimming and polluting the water are strictly prohibited and will be punished according to law.

Summer ultraviolet radiation is extremely strong at high altitudes; please take precautions against sunburn. Wear comfortable athletic shoes for hiking on Bijia Mountain; do not wear slippers or high heels.

Day 3: Jianshui Ancient City Citywalk → Lin'an Station of Yunnan-Vietnam Railway → Puzhehei & Basket Boat Water Carnival

In the morning, enjoy a leisurely stroll through Jianshui Ancient City. This ancient city, described by Xu Xiake as "the Zoulu of Southern Yunnan," boasts cobblestone streets warmed by the summer sun on a clear morning. Visit the iconic Chaoyang Tower—built 28 years earlier than Tiananmen Square, its red walls and towers standing majestically. Stroll along Lin'an Road, its cobblestone streets and wooden arcades brimming with local life. Don't forget to sample Jianshui's quintessential "Grass Sprout Rice Noodles," with crisp grass sprouts paired with a rich broth—refreshing and not greasy. Also try the charcoal-grilled tofu from roadside stalls, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside—a delicacy featured in the documentary series "A Bite of China."

Afterwards, we visited Lin'an Station on the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, one of the best-preserved meter-gauge railway stations in China and a filming location for the movie "Youth". The French-style buildings with yellow walls and red tiles, the retro railway tracks, and the red lanterns on the platform exude a strong French retro feel. Wearing a white dress or a Republic-era student uniform for photos will instantly create a wonderful atmosphere.

In the afternoon, we will travel to Puzhehei National 5A-level Scenic Area, the filming location for the popular TV dramas "Where Are We Going, Dad?" and "Eternal Love," as well as the CCTV program "Home Amidst Mountains and Rivers." In summer, Puzhehei boasts thousands of acres of lotus ponds stretching to the horizon, pink and white petals glistening with morning dew, and green lotus leaves basking in the sunlight. We will ride in a basket boat across the lotus pond, the oars shattering the reflections of clouds on the water's surface—and even more excitingly, a water-splashing frenzy may erupt at any moment! Water guns and laughter will echo in the lotus breeze, soaking our clothes but also sweetening the time—a unique ritual of summer in Puzhehei.

The basket boat experience is included in the activity. If you wish to upgrade to a willow leaf boat, an additional 100 yuan per person will be charged.

Puzhehei basket boats are a water activity; life jackets must be worn at all times. We have provided a waterproof phone case. Please do not bring valuables on the boat.

The lotus pond walkways are slippery; please do not approach the dangerous areas near the water's edge while taking photos.

Day 4: Qinglong Mountain Sunrise → Hai Numide → Mile Dongfengyun → Kaleidoscope Art Museum

Climb Qinglong Mountain in the early morning to watch the sunrise; the summit takes only 20 minutes. From the viewing platform, you can enjoy panoramic views of 54 lakes, over 200 karst peaks, and thousands of acres of lotus ponds. In summer, the sunrise is often shrouded in mist, turning the peaks golden, earning it the reputation of "the most beautiful sunrise in southeastern Yunnan." After sunrise, head to the Hai Numide rural area to explore the summer rice paddies and lotus ponds of the Yi ethnic minority region, immersing yourself in the idyllic countryside.

In the afternoon, we headed to Mile and explored the Dongfengyun Art Town, known as the "Oriental Morocco." This is a popular spot on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) for taking photos. The core attraction, the Kaleidoscope Art Museum, was designed by a local artist and constructed without a single steel bar or nail, using 7 million local red bricks joined together with mortise and tenon joints. The bottle-shaped dome changes light and shadow with the sunlight, creating a magical and romantic effect.

Summer brings an even bigger surprise: hundreds of acres of lavender fields are in full bloom, a romantic purple expanse covering the mountains. Standing amidst the flowers, with the castle-like red brick buildings behind you, every photo looks like a magazine cover.

Important Notes:

Sunrise at Qinglong Mountain in summer is around 6:00 AM. Please leave 15-20 minutes early. The mornings are slightly cool, so a light jacket is recommended. You can rest at your hotel if you don't wish to go.

The Dongfengyun Scenic Area is large. A sightseeing bus is included. During the hottest hours of summer (12:00-3:00 PM), please minimize sun exposure.

The Kaleidoscope Art Museum is an art building; climbing and touching the walls are prohibited. Please be respectful when taking photos.

Day 5: Mile Popular Market → Dianchi Haiyan Village → Laoyuhe Wetland Park → Kunming (Disband)

In the morning, explore the Focheng Commercial City—Mile's largest comprehensive farmers' market, now a viral sensation online as the "Dopamine Vegetable Market." Colorful seasonal fruits are neatly arranged, like an art exhibition; flower stalls, handicraft stalls, and fresh juice stalls transform "grocery shopping" into a new experience of "exhibition + leisure."

Travelers carrying bamboo baskets, bloggers with cameras, hotel owners pushing carts…this is the best window to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Mile.

After returning to Kunming, we'll head to Haiyan Village, an ancient fishing village nestled on the shores of Dianchi Lake, now a newly popular spot for social media check-ins. Strolling through the village, the cobblestone paths extend to the lakeside boardwalk. At dusk, the sunset paints Dianchi Lake a golden-red, a breathtaking sight.

Our final stop is Laoyuhe Wetland Park. In summer, the most recommended activity is taking a transparent boat ride through the metasequoia forest—sunlight filters through the leaves, casting Tyndall effect, the boat gently glides, and the oars create ripples on the water. This is Kunming's hidden "green lung," where children play in the shallows and catch fish, while adults relax in the shade, providing a cool respite from our five-day trip. After the visit, we'll return to Kunming city, concluding our 5-day, 4-night Yunnan adventure.

Notes:

The drop-off point is in Kunming city. We recommend booking trains departing after 7:00 PM or flights departing after 9:00 PM to allow ample time.

The lakeside walkway in the wetland park is slippery; please be careful when taking photos and stay away from dangerous areas near the water.

During summer outings, remember to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and keep your personal belongings safe.

1.As the organizer and executor of this activity, our company reserves the right to use all photos, videos, and other materials taken during the trip.

2.Due to the involvement of outdoor hiking, long-distance travel, and thrill rides, participants must ensure they are in good health and fit for travel. Those with high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, respiratory diseases, mental illness, severe anemia, those recovering from major or medium-sized surgeries, those with mobility impairments, and pregnant women are not permitted to participate. Those registering on behalf of others must accurately verify the health status of the person being registered for to ensure they meet the requirements of this tour.

3.According to relevant provisions of the Tourism Law, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian who is responsible for their care throughout the tour.

4.This activity does not accept unregistered participants (including unregistered infants). For the health of others and the experience of the activity, pets are not allowed.

5.Please provide accurate and complete information as required by the system when registering to avoid booking errors that may affect your trip. You will be solely responsible for any losses incurred due to incorrect information provided.

6.Staff will assign rooms based on accommodation availability, with room sharing primarily between same-sex group members. If you require a room with family/friends, please inform staff after registration. If you are registering alone and require a single room, please contact staff to confirm availability; if possible, the single room supplement will be borne by the traveler.

7.If you hold special documents that may qualify for discounts, such as military officer ID, press card, disability certificate, senior citizen card, student ID, or medical certificate, please contact staff within one day of registration and submit the relevant documents. Discounted tickets are issued by the travel agency at attractions; refunds will be based on the travel agency's discounted price, not the attraction's listed price.

8.Some attractions may require advance ticket reservations using your personal information (the identification document must match the ticket). If an attraction is unavailable due to sold-out tickets or other objective reasons, we will arrange alternative attractions for you, with refunds or additional charges as needed.

9.The scenery at the attractions mentioned in the itinerary may vary due to weather, seasonal changes, etc., and cannot be guaranteed to match the descriptions in the activity introduction. By registering, you acknowledge and understand this. The tour guide shown on the activity introduction page may not be the final actual tour leader. Our company reserves the right to make adjustments based on actual circumstances such as the activity schedule. By registering, tourists acknowledge and understand this.

10.During the actual trip, with the consent of the guests, the tour leader may make appropriate adjustments to the itinerary based on weather, traffic, and other conditions (such as adjusting the order of sightseeing spots, changing meeting times, etc.) to ensure the smooth progress of the trip.

11.In the event of force majeure, such as traffic delays, strikes, weather, aircraft or train malfunctions, flight cancellations or changes in flight times, airport closures, scenic spot closures, or events that the travel agency or its service providers could not avoid despite exercising reasonable care, our company will make every effort to assist with itinerary changes. Any resulting price differences will be refunded or charged accordingly.

12.If the activity is cancelled before departure or midway due to force majeure, according to the "Travel Contract," the activity fee will be refunded after deducting the portion already paid to the service providers that is non-refundable, and the remaining amount will be returned to the original payment account.

13.If a tourist withdraws from the activity midway due to personal reasons, a departure agreement must be signed. All safety responsibilities and expenses incurred after leaving the group will be borne by the tourist. During the period of separation, any unused and refundable expenses included in the tour fee will be refunded to the tourist, with the actual refund amount calculated based on the travel agency's discounted price. Fees already paid to service providers and non-refundable will not be refunded to the tourist.

14.During the activity itinerary, there may be shopping venues not arranged by our company in scenic spots, restaurants, rest areas, etc. We remind you to consume rationally and obtain receipts. Any disputes arising from consumption will be resolved between you and the merchants selling the goods.

After registering for and paying for the activity, if a participant requests a refund or change due to personal reasons (due to force majeure "including but not limited to natural and social causes, such as natural disasters, war, terrorist activities, riots, strikes, public emergencies, traffic delays, strikes, coups, road blockages, vehicle breakdowns, car malfunctions, attraction closures, flight cancellations, local government actions, etc."), the following refund and change policy will apply (Note: Group airfare is non-refundable, only taxes will be refunded; accommodation fees, meal fees, and entrance fees, if tickets have been issued before departure, are non-refundable).

1.Full refund for cancellations made 7 days or more before departure;

2.Cancellation requests made 6 to 5 days before departure (inclusive) will incur a 20% deduction from the activity fee, followed by a full refund;

3.Cancellation requests made 4 to 3 days before departure (inclusive) will incur a 40% deduction from the activity fee, followed by a full refund;

4.Cancellation requests made 2 to 1 days before departure (inclusive) will incur a 60% deduction from the activity fee, followed by a full refund;

5.Cancellation requests made on the departure day will incur an 80% deduction from the activity fee, followed by a full refund;

6.Cancellation during the trip will only result in a refund for unused entrance fees and accommodations.
