Today, guests will arrive in Lijiang/Dali by plane or train. Our team will pick you up and transfer you to the designated hotel in the city. Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk. Lijiang Travel Guide:

1. Lijiang Old Town: Lijiang Old Town is actually composed of three ancient towns. The first is [Dayan Ancient Town], with its small bridges and flowing water, built against Lion Mountain and facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It is hailed as a "World Heritage Site." Famous attractions within the town include Sifang Street, Mu's Residence, Yuhe Square, and Wangu Tower. It's about a 3-5km walk from the hotel.

2. The second is [Shuhe Ancient Town], a well-preserved important market town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road with over 1300 years of history. It's famous for its rustic architecture, clear springs, and profound cultural heritage. Core scenic spots include Sifang Street, Qinglong Bridge, Feihua Chushui (Flying Flowers Touching Water), and Jiuding Longtan (Nine Dragon Pool). It's about a 7km taxi ride from the hotel.

3. The third is [Baisha Ancient Town], a newly popular tourist destination in Lijiang. Dali Travel Guide:

1. Xingsheng Bridge (Instagrammable): About 3km from the hotel, the night view is particularly enchanting, resembling a stroll along the Seni River – perfect for taking photos.

Erhai Ecological Corridor: If you arrive early and have ample time, you can take a sightseeing electric car (at your own expense) from the starting point of the Erhai Ecological Corridor (Yangnanxi) to Caicun Wharf. The route passes Longkan Wharf, offering scenic views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake (one-way 40 RMB, round-trip 60 RMB). After breakfast, depart from Lijiang/Dali, heading towards the abandoned city of Zhiziluo at sunrise. Travel along the Hangrui Expressway through Baoshan, arriving in Liuku around noon. After lunch, head to the [Hot Spring Festival Site] on the banks of the Nujiang River. Every year from the second to the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, the Lisu people hold a grand Hot Spring Festival here. People from all directions gather to bathe in the hot springs, washing away the fatigue and impurities of the past year and praying for health and peace in the new year. Besides soaking in the hot springs, there are also exciting activities such as antiphonal singing, crossbow shooting, walking on knives, and walking on fire, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.

Afterwards, experience the Nujiang River zipline, a representative and typical primitive mode of transportation in the Nujiang area, still widely used today. Then, visit the abandoned city of Zhiziluo, a forgotten town. Stepping into this city high in the clouds, you'll be greeted by buildings from the Republican era of the last century, as if stepping through a time tunnel; this was once the prosperous capital of Nujiang. In the 1980s, a major natural geological disaster was predicted, so the entire town was relocated to Lushui, becoming an abandoned city overnight.

In the evening, check into a characteristic local guesthouse in Laomudeng, and enjoy the sunset over the Laomudeng Christian Church and Crown Mountain. Dinner is recommended: Nujiang hand-grabbed rice. Visit a Nujiang family, experience the hearth culture, try the unique hand-grabbed rice, and enjoy a traditional intangible cultural heritage performance.

Day 3: Laomudeng → Stone Moon → Gongshan → Dulongjiang → Visiting the Tattooed Women

After breakfast, enjoy the beautiful morning scenery of Laomudeng Village. You might even witness the magnificent view of the rolling sea of ​​clouds in the Nujiang Grand Canyon. Afterwards, drive along the new Yunnan-Tibet Highway (Road 219), passing through Fugong. Along the way, the majestic Biluo Snow Mountain and Gaoligong Mountain rise on both sides, traversing the Nujiang Grand Canyon. Pass through Lishadi Township, where you'll find the spectacular Stone Moon, known in the Lisu language as "Yahaba". We will have lunch in Gongshan County. After lunch, we will head to Dulongjiang Township, a little-known corner of the border between China and Myanmar, which is known as an ancient and mysterious place. The scenery along the road to Dulongjiang is quite charming. The winding mountain road winds through the primeval forest, and every shot is a masterpiece.

In the afternoon, we arrived at the Dulongjiang Township scenic area and checked into a comfortable local hotel. Here, the emerald-green river cuts through the Gaoligong Mountains and the Danglika Mountains, creating a secluded paradise. The banks are covered in primeval forests, shrouded in mist like a fairyland. Afterwards, we traveled upstream, passing through Longyuan Village, and visited Dizhengdang to seek out the nearly extinct tattooed women of the Dulong ethnic group. [The Dulong tattooed women] are now fewer than ten people remaining, becoming the last living fossils. The blue-green tattoos on their faces are a pact between butterflies and their souls, and a symbol of a vanishing civilization. In the evening, we returned to the hotel and enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant. We fell asleep to the sounds of the canyon river and the starry sky.

Day 4: Dulongjiang → Pukawang → Gongdang Sacred Mountain → First Bend of the Nujiang River → Bingzhongluo

After breakfast at the hotel, head to [Pukwang], an absolutely underrated village and a primitive settlement of the Dulong ethnic group. The Pukawang River flows through here, its waters a natural emerald green—simply breathtaking. It eventually joins the Dulong River. The lush vegetation, secluded village, and emerald-green river create a paradise-like setting.

After the tour, we will travel along the Dulongjiang Highway to Bingzhongluo, stopping in Gongshan for lunch. After lunch, we will head to Bingzhongluo, a place where humans and gods coexist. The scenery along the way is also quite pristine and captivating. About an hour later, we will arrive at the Bingzhongluo viewing platform, where a town like a fairyland will unfold before our eyes. Below the platform flows the Nujiang River, and in the center of the river bend lies a small village. Surrounded by water on three sides, the terrain forms a peninsula-like plain. The surrounding scenery is pleasant, a veritable pastoral paradise in the canyon.

Afterwards, we'll head to Gongdang Sacred Mountain, a place few people visit on their way to Bingzhongluo, where the views will not disappoint. Once you reach the summit and park, stroll to the viewing platform for a panoramic view of the First Bend of the Nu River and a side view of Bingzhongluo itself, including streets, churches, temples, and terraced fields. In the afternoon, we'll transfer to a comfortable hotel in Bingzhongluo Town. This town has been bustling since ancient times, an important stop on the ancient Tea Horse Road and now the starting point of the new 219 Yunnan-Tibet Highway [Bingchacha], a transit point for countless tourists heading to Tibet. For dinner, we'll explore the streets, searching for local delicacies, and fall asleep to the starry night under the shimmering sky of this enchanting town.

Day 5: Yunnan-Tibet Border → Qiunatong → Ancient Tea Horse Road → Wuli Village → Peacock Mountain Hiking → Deqin Feilai Temple

After breakfast, head to the most pristine village in China, visiting the Bingcha section of the Yunnan-Tibet border, a place where foreigners are not allowed to enter. Then, proceed to the beautiful ecological village of Qiunatong, hiking along the ancient Tea Horse Road beside the Nujiang River, admiring the cliffside Tea Horse Road, and finally reaching the picturesque village of Wuli. Afterwards, depart Bingzhongluo by car, passing through Shimen Pass.

Crossing the Nujiang Bridge, we travel along the Degong Highway to Peacock Mountain, traversing canyons and winding mountain roads, arriving in about 1.5 hours. This location marks the dividing line between the Biluo Snow Mountain and the Nujiang River, and the Lancang River in the Yunling Mountains. The Degong Highway boasts stunning scenery and has recently become a popular hiking destination, also part of the outer pilgrimage route around Meili Snow Mountain. Afterwards, the leader will guide you on a light hike of approximately 4.5 kilometers, taking about 2-3 hours. Please be mindful of your physical condition during this high-altitude hike and avoid overexertion. The hike will traverse forests, grasslands, and alpine lakes, especially passing through large areas of rhododendron bushes, which are spectacular during the blooming season. We will then reach the Tianxin Twelve Lakes viewpoint, where Peacock Mountain will be right before your eyes, breathtakingly beautiful with its numerous lakes of varying sizes. After the hike, we will travel by car through the Lancang River Canyon, along the Meili Snow Mountain road that winds along the Lancang River to Feilai Temple. After checking into the hotel, you will have free time.

At this moment, Mount Kawagebo (Meili Snow Mountain) will be right in front of you. Now is the perfect time to photograph the sunset over Mount Meili, a breathtaking spectacle of magnificent colors. Feel free to unleash your creativity and capture this breathtaking scenery to your heart's content!

Special Note:

Because Peacock Mountain is located on the dividing line between the Biluo Snow Mountain and the Nujiang River, and the Lancang River in the Yunling Mountains, its terrain is highly seasonal. If heavy snow closes the mountain in winter, hiking will be cancelled for safety reasons. Please be aware of this.

Day 6: Meili Snow Mountain Sunrise → Baima Snow Mountain → Jinsha River Moon Bay → Yila Grassland Napa Lake → Dukezong Ancient Town

In the morning, head to the scenic area's viewing platform to witness the "Golden Sunrise" over Meili Snow Mountain. As the first rays of sunlight paint the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain, "Kawagebo," in gold, the dazzling golden hue stirs the heart and leaves everyone deeply moved. After enjoying the sunrise, have breakfast on your own and drive through Deqin County, then cross the Baima Snow Mountain pass to reach the summit. From this vantage point, the breathtaking scenery unfolds before your eyes. Then, at [Jinsha River Moon Bay], the Jinsha River encounters a rounded, pyramid-shaped mountain peak, and the golden river water flows around the mountain in a standard "inverted Ω" shape, which is the great bend of the Jinsha River in many photographic works.

On the way down the mountain, we'll have lunch in Benzilan or Nixi. After lunch, we'll travel along National Highway 214 to Napa Lake in Yila Grassland. We'll tour Napa Lake along the Yila Grassland, enjoying the blue sky, white clouds, snow-capped mountains, lakes, grasslands, pastures, and herds of cattle and sheep – a truly expansive and photogenic experience. Near dusk, we'll head to Shangri-La city for our overnight stay. After lunch, continue along the Eastern Tourist Loop, passing through Haba Village with a distant view of Haba Snow Mountain. We will take photos here before a 1-hour drive to the Tiger Leaping Gorge High-Speed ​​Trail.

Upon arriving at the Tiger Leaping Gorge Highway, we'll experience the highlight section, visiting the legendary "Halfway" balcony and the Dragon Cave Waterfall. For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, the "Halfway" balcony offers a chance to unwind, listen to music, enjoy coffee, and soak up the sun – a great way to travel. 13. If the activity is cancelled before departure or midway due to force majeure, the remaining itinerary will be cancelled, as stipulated in the "Travel Contract." 14. If a tourist withdraws from the activity midway for personal reasons, a departure agreement must be signed.
