Detailed route

Day 1: Chengdu - Tianquan Service Area - Honghaizi - Gedilam - Xinduqiao

9:00-9:30 Depart for Tianquan Service Area.

11:00-11:30 Arrive at Tianquan Service Area for aerial photography.

12:50-13:30 Proceed to Kangding for lunch and rest. After lunch, visit Honghaizi Scenic Area.

15:00-16:00 Visit Honghaizi and take photos.

17:30-18:50 Arrive at Gedilam for aerial photography.

19:00-20:00 Proceed to Xinduqiao for overnight stay.

Gedilam: A paradise for aerial photography. The most beautiful thing is not the scenery, but the courage to trek over mountains and valleys for a sunset in a desolate life.

Day 2: Xinduqiao – Jiagenba – Chongcao Pass/Lenggacuo – Xinduqiao

Before 9:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel

10:20-10:30 AM: Please assemble at the time agreed upon with the tour leader. Departure to Jiagenba at 10:30 AM sharp.

11:20-11:40 AM: Arrive at Jiagenba. The tour leader will provide opportunities for photography using a DSLR camera. The route includes streams, cafes, and camping tents. The distance is approximately 50km.

12:30-1:50 PM: Lunch and rest.

3:30-6:00 PM: Proceed to Chongcao Pass/Lenggacuo for the sunrise over the mountains and aerial photography.

7:30-8:40 PM: Proceed to Xinduqiao for overnight stay.

Lenggacuo, known as the "Eye of Gongga," is a stunning alpine lake located on the western slope of Gongga Mountain. It's a popular spot for taking photos of the lake bathed in golden sunlight, and offers aerial views of its lush, verdant peaks. The best time to visit is from June to November each year, while in winter, when the lake freezes over, you can witness the unique spectacle of blue ice.

Day 3: Xinduqiao - Tagong Grassland - Gunong Village/Muya Temple - Yunraola - Xinduqiao

8:30 Departure from Tagong Grassland on time.

10:20-10:30 Breakfast time is subject to the hotel reception. Please assemble at the time agreed upon with the tour leader.

11:20-11:40 Visit Gunong Village/Muya Temple.

12:30-13:50 Lunch break, proceed to Tagong Town for lunch and rest.

14:30-15:00 Proceed to Yunraola, view Yala Snow Mountain; from here, Yala Snow Mountain seems within reach.

18:50-19:00 Proceed to Xinduqiao for overnight stay.

Tagong Grassland: A place where immortals dwell! A flowing oil painting along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Here, you'll find both the magnificence of snow-capped mountains and the gentleness of grasslands.

Yala Snow Mountain Viewing Platform: Yala Snow Mountain is a sacred "virgin peak" in western Sichuan, known as the "second Shangri-La". The Yala Snow Mountain Viewing Platform is an excellent location to face this sacred mountain in Tibet up close. It is only 4.2 kilometers away from the snow mountain in a straight line, and you can clearly capture its magnificent panorama and glacial patterns without a telephoto lens.

Day 4: Xinduqiao – Moshishi Park – Yala Snow Mountain Viewpoint – Siguniangshan Town

10:00-10:30 Departure

11:20-11:40 Head to Moshishi Park Scenic Area for photo opportunities and aerial photography of the park's spectacular scenery

12:30-13:50 Lunch and rest in Xinduqiao

14:00-15:00 Visit the Yala Snow Mountain Viewpoint to experience the sacred and magnificent beauty of Yala Snow Mountain

15:30-18:30 Overnight stay at Siguniangshan Town

Day 5: Siguniang Mountain Shuangqiao Valley - Maobiliang - Balang Mountain - Chengdu

8:30-9:00 Departure

9:00-12:30 Visit Siguniang Mountain Shuangqiao Valley

12:30-13:30 Arrive in Siguniang Mountain Town

13:30-14:30 Depart for Maobiliang Viewing Platform/Balang Mountain View from the vehicle

14:30-18:00 Return to Chengdu

Shuangqiaogou: The most concentrated and enchanting scenic area in the Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area, comparable to the Alps and the Swiss Alps.

Maobiliang: One of the best viewing platforms in Siguniang Mountain, offering free panoramic views, golden sunrises over the mountains, and snow-capped peaks amidst a sea of ​​clouds.

Important Notes:

1. A text message will be sent between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM the day before departure, containing the meeting time, address, tour leader's phone number, and travel tips. Please reply immediately with your own and your companions' names and remind them to check. Thank you for your cooperation.

2. If you haven't received the message by 8:00 PM (9:00 PM on holidays), please contact the registration office (please do not inquire before the deadline; the tour leader is actively contacting them).

3. There may be errors in the copying of tourists' ID numbers. ID information will be verified on the tour bus on the day of departure to ensure accuracy.

4. There are vendors selling breakfast, raincoats, rain boots, and other small items near rest areas. Please carefully inspect the items sold by these vendors, as some unscrupulous vendors may impersonate travel agency personnel. Staff members may try to sell goods to tourists and promote false information about prices at the scenic area. Please be wary. The travel agency will not arrange any staff (including tour guides and drivers) to sell any small commodities to tourists at the meeting point. However, our agency also has no right to interfere with the free trade rights of vendors, nor does it assume any responsibility for transactions between vendors and tourists. 5. Due to fire prevention and safety reasons, Yuzixi is closed during winter. If this prevents your visit, we will replace it with [Balangshengdu Village]: Balangshengdu Village is also a 360-degree viewing platform, offering views of both the Gongga Mountains and Yala Snow Mountain. It is less crowded, open, and has many swings, mani stones, and wooden houses for taking photos, making it an excellent spot for viewing snow-capped mountains.

6. The visit to Yuzixi/Balangshengdu is a free time without a tour guide. Your safety is your own responsibility during this free time!

7. This itinerary involves a long journey, mostly on mountain roads. Road conditions are unpredictable and traffic jams may occur, resulting in later meal times or later arrival at the hotel. Thank you for your understanding. Please do not book round-trip transportation (such as buses, trains, airplanes, etc.) for the same day if the return time is uncertain. 8. There will be roadside stops along the way where tour buses can provide water or toilet facilities. After getting off at such stops, you will have free time. You will also have free time after dinner. Please keep your valuables with you during your free time and be responsible for your personal safety and property.

Friendly Reminder:

1. Due to road maintenance on the route from Siguniang Mountain to Danba, temporary traffic control may be in effect. If the road is closed and impassable, an alternative route will be taken: Chengdu – Luding – Wadan Road – Danba.

2. The Shuangqiao Valley scenic area of ​​Siguniang Mountain will be replaced by the Jiaju Tibetan Village scenic area in Danba. The Jiaju Tibetan Village entrance fee is not included. A sightseeing bus ticket of 35 RMB per person is also required and must be paid separately. There is no refund for the price difference in the scenic area replacement.
